Additional rooms await Bulacan State University (BulSU) Hagonoy Campus as the second floor rehabilitation project took off, June 12.
The additional rooms consist of four regular classrooms and a drawing room is expected to be accomplished on or before August. Hagonoy Campus Director Ladislao Marcelo initiated the said project.
Meanwhile, the fund for the rehabilitation plan which amounts to Php3.5 million was half of the special education fund donated by the Provincial Government
“The project was good but we students need more than that because as we know, Hagonoy Campus is getting bigger saka ‘di lang naman kasi student ang magbe-benefit sa space na mapo-provide kung ‘di pati na rin po mga staff ng school,” said SG Sen. Sydney Ivy Vitan
BulSU President Mariano De Jesus said that the project is headed by Architect Tess Gopez of Planning and Management Office since Architect Danilo S. Faustino II took his leave.
De Jesus added that a five-year development plan to cultivate Hagonoy Campus’ eight-hectare land area is already on deliberation with the administration.
Furthermore, Governor Wilhelmino Sy-Alvarado said, “Ito [fund] ay para sa Bulakenyo, because public fund is for public use.”
“Masasabi ko lang po na maganda ang nangyayari sa amin dito sa Hagonoy Campus. I could even say that [BulSU] Hagonoy is stretching its legs to another level of development,” said Joe Vincent Dela Cruz, sophomore education student.
