In addition to the growing list of international linkages, a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) was signed between Bulacan State University (BulSU) and Mahasarakham University (MSU) of Thailand last August 21.
Through the MOA signed by BulSU President Mariano De Jesus and MSU President Supachoi Samappito of Thailand, an international exchange program will take place between the two universities.
In the near future, mas madali rin silang makakahanap ng trabaho,” said Vice-President for External Affairs Cecilia Geronimo.
The said program includes tutorial service wherein Bachelor of Secondary Education in English students from BulSU and Thai students from MSU will undergo switching for internship and practicum with allowance. Other services offered are English as a Second Language Program, Class Immersion/Sit-in Programs and Special Assistance Program.
Before the MOA, a Memorandum of Understanding was agreed upon by the two presidents that features exchange of Undergraduate and/or Graduate students, exchange of faculty members and/or staffs, joint research activities and publications, participation in seminars and academic meetings and exchange of research materials.
Aside from South Korea, China, Hong Kong, Macau, Singapore, Malaysia, Japan, Thailand and Ethiopia, the External Affairs Office is also planning to add Indonesia and Vietnam to its list of linkages.
