Assisting BulSUans on the start of the semester, Alpha Phi Omega (APO) Epsilon Kappa Chapter greeted students with its semestral book covering project, Federizo Hall, June 24-28.
Entitled ‘A Free Book Covering,’ the activity is the fraternity’s first project for the academic year and is pushed through with the goal of serving students in small ways.
As compared with the previous semester’s 825 students, a number of 1,200 students have been assisted by the project this semester with its budget of 3,500 Php. Donations from APO’s alumni and student members funded the book covering.
Sa tulong nito p’wede pa ulit magamit ng next generation [‘yong libro],” said Gina Sarmiento of BSED 2G, a beneficiary of the activity.
Other than the book covering project, also part of APO’s plans this school year is to visit to some mental institutions around Bulacan and a free document printing project.
